The Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Operations Course is designed for seafarers and professionals working onboard oil tankers who are directly involved in handling, loading, discharging, monitoring, and managing oil cargo operations. Conducted as a value-added training program under IMO guidelines (STCW Chapter V, Regulation V/1-1 and Section A-V/1-1-3), this course enhances the knowledge and competence of participants to ensure safe and efficient tanker operations.

The training covers advanced concepts such as tanker design and construction, cargo planning and stability, cargo handling systems, cargo measurement and calculation, safety protocols, pollution prevention measures, inert gas systems, tank cleaning, crude oil washing, emergency procedures, and compliance with MARPOL and other international conventions.
