Course overview

The training program covers various aspects of air quality testing, including its significance in ensuring clean and safe breathing air, potential hazards of contaminated air in breathing apparatus, and the regulatory standards and guidelines governing air quality in breathing air bottles.

This course also provides an overview of test equipment and instruments, parameters to be measured, and sampling frequency. Inspect the respirator before and during each use and during maintenance. Inspect designated equipment immediately" at least monthly, before and after each use. Replace all cracked, torn, broken, missing, or damaged parts.

In addition, the training program includes emergency procedures for air quality issues or accidents during testing or recruitment, as well as evacuation and first aid procedures for of the possibility of contamination.
