Hazardous Cargo Vanning Survey

This course provides relevant knowledge in logistics, shipping, and cargo handling personnel for the safe carriage of hazardous cargo. The Hazardous Cargo Vanning Survey course content shall deal with compliance, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures along with identification, classification, and compatibility of hazardous materials. Participants learn how to perform vanning surveys, which ensure that containers are within the bounds of prescribed safety standards in terms of integrity, stowage requirements, and proper documentation in line with the IMDG Code, CTU Code, and IMO Circular 1498. They also have practical hands-on exercises in becoming involved with current case studies and providing best practices in the industry. Course overview

Our course provides staff with training on logistics, shipping, and cargo handling in the necessary knowledge of efficiently and safely moving hazardous cargo. It gives an overview of various regulations, ways of compliance with those, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures, putting considerable weight on the identification, classification, and compatibility of hazardous materials. Participants learn the process of performing vanning surveys by checking the integrity of containers, their stowage requirements, and proper documentation in accordance with the IMDG Code, CTU Code, and IMO Circular 1498.

Cases and practical exercises develop hands-on skills in current good practices within the industry. In return, the professionals will be trained in the safe handling of hazardous cargo, followed by effective response in cases of emergencies and observing regulatory compliance.
