By blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training, participants gain the expertise needed to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of mechanical systems. You’ll learn to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, implement preventative maintenance strategies, and lead a team of technicians with confidence and competence.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a LISCR-approved Certificate of Achievement. Maintenance supervisors are usually individuals with commercial skills and extensive experience in the field. Depending on the job, appropriate qualifications, licenses, or specific skills may also be required.

- 16. Silos for Cement & Barite and Transfer system to hopper.
- 17. Triplex Mud Pump, Pulsation dampener, Suction dampener and Mud agitator.
- 18. Marine Riser Tensioner and Traveling Block Heave compensator.
- 19. Marine Riser Telescopic joint and Rotating joint for DP ships.
- 20. Surface BOP control system and hydraulic arrangements.
- 21. Subsea BOP control system and hydraulic, electric and acoustic arrangements .
- Four years of service aboard MOUs including at least one year of service as mechanic, motorman, sub sea engineer, electrician, toolpusher, unit superintendent, crane operator or equivalent supervisory position on MOUs.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized school of technology and have one year of service as barge engineer, mechanic, motorman, sub sea engineer, electrician, toolpusher, unit superintendent, crane operator or equivalent supervisory position on MOUs.
- Complete an industry accredited MOU course that addresses those subjects in Section 6.5 of IMO Resolution A.891(21)
