Elite Offshore's "The Marine Terminal Operator Competence & Training" or MTOCT includes and is not limited to the concerns on safety practices, emergency response, environmental concern, and cargo handling. The MTOCT program ensures the knowledge and competence of terminal operators in executing safe, efficient, and compliant marine terminal operations.
The Marine Terminal Operator Competence & Training" (MTOCT) program is in line with Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) guidelines and 46 CFR §525. It is a structured program to develop the competence and knowledge of each and every personnel involved in the operations of the marine terminal.
The participants of the program would be trained on the requirements of OCIMF regarding terminal management, safety procedures and response to emergencies, as well as environmental protection and compliance with regulatory standards.
Thereafter, the regulations applicable in 46 CFR §525 would be added. Similarly, the competence developments regarding cargo operations, mooring and unmooring, berthing, offloading tankers, and terminal security would also be objects of training.
This MTOCT program would provide participants with broad-based understanding of the duties and best practices associated with running marine terminal operations.
