Mobile RT Crane Operator

The goal of this extensive training course is to provide participants with the abilities and information required to operate a mobile rough terrain (RT) crane in a safe and efficient manner. The regulations provide that any individual operating a crane on a slope must undergo training before operating the machine on their own. Important subjects covered in this course include load and crane stability, collapse from heavy loads, using outriggers correctly, and rigging techniques.

Course overview

The Mobile Crane Operator Training, including Rough Terrain (RT) Crane Operator training, provides thoroughly  safety instruction for larger loads is provided by the Mobile RT Crane operator training, which also addresses obstacle-related hazards and ensures stability. In accordance with OSHA 1926.1427 guideline,  it provides hands-on training in crawler and rubber tire mobile crane operations.
