Course overview

The Struck-By Hazard course seeks to achieve two main goals: identifying workplace factors and practices that raise the risk of struck-by incidents, and learning the recommendations for avoiding them.

Struck-by occurrences, a major source of mortality in construction, also cause serious injuries, yet they are completely avoidable. These accidents include people being struck by moving things like as falling hammers, grinder debris, collisions with reversing lorries, or being hit by hoisted wallboard.
